FunctieomschrijvingThe Operations team, based in Brussels consists of 3 sub-teams focusing on Policy & Broker Management, Claims and Benefits. As a Business Process Analyst you will be part of one of these sub teams and will report to the team lead. You will be responsible for analyzing and continuously improving operational processes and the policy database used for the management of all life insurance portfolios that the company acquires. You will thus be a key enabler to achieve the business objectives and you will provide support to the smooth integration of newly acquired portfolio’s.
You will have the following responsibilities:
? Elaborate documented guidelines and procedures within your area of competencies and support their implementation;
? Ensure the analysis of the  policy database and evaluate the impact of acquisitions and all kinds of projects on the system and on the operational processes;
? Implement all changes, improvements and follow-up of bugs of the policy database (UL3 platform) to ensure accuracy, efficiency and optimal functioning of the database;
? Ensure policy administration is compliant with applicable fiscal and legal framework (including first line AML formalities) and company guidelines and procedures and assist the business with defining actions in view thereof;
? Prepare and execute tests of processes and calculations in order to check and ensure quality and reliability of developments;
? Collaborate with all internal and external parties involved (such as Operations, IT, Change, etc) by developing a relation of trust.
? During busy periods, you will be back-up of or provide support to the operations subteam.
? Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Life Insurance sector;
? Experience in project management, drafting policies and/or with change management is a strong asset;
? Knowledge of UL3 (policy management platform) or other policy management platforms and qualification of PCP (‘Person in Contact with Public’) is an asset.
? Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
? Professional knowledge of Dutch, French and English;
? Strong affinity with numbers, analytical, detail and solution oriented, enthusiastic, energetic and entrepreneurial;
