Functieomschrijving As Project Manager Planning, you have a key role to ensure alignment among the construction team, the engineering team, the architect, all suppliers & subcontractors, the start-up team (SUM), and all relevant stakeholders in the existing factory.   All activities in the project are very interdependent and need to be well coordinated through meticulous planning and excellent communication with all stakeholders involved.
Key activities in this role: 
•    You initially analyze the existing project planning and refine it with new long-term milestones between the eight sub-projects, based upon obtaining relevant and correct information from the different stakeholders.
•    You must be able to identify the impact of such information on the progress and timeline of the project, based upon your overall knowledge of engineering and previous experience with similar projects
•    You ensure timely information from and communication with all relevant stakeholders in all steps of the project
•    You coordinate the medium-to-long-term phases that will occur in the next two to three months based on critical path thinking
•    You take responsibility for achieving the activities on the critical path and take corrective action when necessary
•    You Integrate (late) scope changes, taking into account subcontractor constraints and their impact
•    You align commissioning activities with construction, engineering and startup teams 
•    Together with the planner you monitor daily progress and identify bottlenecks on medium and long term, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned in terms of execution
•    You contribute to KPI reporting and risk mitigation strategies 
Profiel •    Bachelor's or master's degree in (civil) engineering or equivalent through experience.
•    Strong management skills, involving planning and coordinating complex (civil) engineering projects.  Knowledge of the food production industry is a strong plus.
•    Proven background (preferably 10+ years) in project management and project planning, the use of project planning tools, as well as insight into the practical feasibility of the planned (inter)actions
•    Strong organizational and communication skills
•    Hands-on, autonomous but also a team player, solution and result-oriented
•    Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, French is a plus.

Organisatie- en afdelingomschrijving Our Client is looking for a Project Manager Planning for a major plant extension project, which is a combination of brown field/green field, involving a major financial investment.  The project is divided into eight major sub-projects.
As Project Manager Planning you will be part of the core team that will bring this complex and ambitious project to a successful conclusion. The focus is currently on civil engineering, but you will work closely with all disciplines to ensure the overall realization of the project.
Project Planning is key in this complex project, as only strict alignment of all parties involved will allow the timely delivery of the additional capacity of this plant, as well as guarantee the continuity of the current production lines.
You will report to the Engineering Manager and have a planning engineer reporting to you. 
Aanbod A full-time Interim Management assignment of approximately 12 months.  Presence onsite will be required at least 4 days/week, with one day working from home, as face-to-face interactions with the Project Team, subcontractors and stakeholders of the existing factory are key.
