As a Field Engineer you are responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out maintenance activities at our retail & IDS service stations. Your mission is to ensure that these assets are always operational and meet the highest standards, while staying within budget guidelines. 
You take charge minor modifications, replacement investments, sanitary and environmental projects. You work closely with the operational team to reduce outages and related costs in the technical part of the gas stations.

Plus, you propose an annual replacement and maintenance program of equipment on site, including a detailed cost calculation based on contractual agreements. After approval, you implement the proposed plan and ensure that it is closely monitored and analyzed.

An essential part of your role is regular monitoring, including of contractor activities, regarding quality, budget and SHE standards. Finally, you keep your knowledge up to date by continuously informing yourself about new developments in the field of safety, environment, technology and legislation.Profiel

• You have a Technical Bachelor degree, or an equivalent  and relevant experience in the petroleum sector
• Experience in a similar sector/function is of course a strong asset
• You have knowledge of SHEM's guidelines for construction
• You are able to communicate in a targeted and decisive manner
• You are organized with an excellent time management 
• Experience with maintenance software packages is an asset
• Problem solver 
• Good stress management 
• As a team player you have good communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must
• A good knowledge of Dutch and English is required
