During the 'getting acquainted' time slot our Select Consultants clearly explain the programme so that you know what to expect.

An application procedure, for our internal and external positions, consists of a getting acquainted and competency-based interview that can be supplemented with specific tests or questionnaires depending on the position. We go over the results with you. This is valuable baggage for your subsequent career.

Then we send a report and CV to potential employers. During this phase we also check any references that you provided. We discuss this with you beforehand.


Select sees every collaboration as a partnership in which the client's needs are of central importance.

Select is a team of specialists who are passionate about their job. Depending on your need, a specific consultant ensures that no HR question remains unanswered.

All these activities are scientifically supported with professional tools but this does not inhibit a personal relationship or tailored solutions. An outplacement process can be initiated in various ways. Either via an assignment from the ex-employer, or via a restructuring file. The moment the assignment for outplacement support is confirmed we will contact the candidate within 1 working day.

A first meeting is held within one week of the redundancy. We meet in order to get to know one another, discuss the redundancy and explain the process. This is followed by more sessions to get to know candidates better and prepare them for their return to the labour market. Everyone is different and that’s why outplacement support is given on an entirely customised basis.

We also keep the ex-employer informed of the process. We naturally handle the data we receive with extreme care and discretion, which is why we send a summary: when the process began, which phase has been reached, what progress has been made. As soon as we find a new challenge together we help the candidate in the application process.

A job application at Select Projects is that little bit different. A first ‘getting acquainted’ meeting is conducted by telephone with an expert. This allows your talents to be assessed. Afterwards we set a date for a personal discussion. In order to allow us to make the right match we do ask you to complete a personality test beforehand.

During the discussion we talk about your experience and interests in order to match these with one of our vacancies. If there is a mutual click and we can achieve a win (you) win (client) win (Select Projects), we will happily discuss a collaboration proposal with you.
