Job description

As a CNC Turner / Machine Operator, you are part of the production team and responsible for manufacturing precision components for industrial applications.
Your responsibilities:

• Operating one or more CNC turning and/or milling machines (Heidenhain control), depending on your experience.
• Ensuring efficient machine operation and optimal output.
• Checking whether the required quality and quantity standards are met.
• Performing preventive maintenance to avoid machine downtime.
• Registering prescribed quality and performance data.
• Organising your own production planning at the machine.
• Working closely with fellow operators and reporting to the foreman.

Team:

• Currently 2 experienced turners, expanding to a third colleague.

Working hours:

• Day shift: 07:30 – 16:00
• 6 ADV days (additional leave days)

Profile You are the ideal candidate if you:

• Have several years of experience as a CNC turner or operator.
• Training or experience in computer?controlled machine tools.
• Can work fluently with lathes and CNC controls (experience with Heidenhain is a strong plus).
• Are able to set up and operate machines independently, even without detailed work instructions.
• Have strong technical insight and work in a quality?focused manner.
• Are well organised and cooperate easily with colleagues.
• Speak Dutch or are fully proficient in English.

Additional assets:

• Willingness to learn and work with new CNC machines.
• Living in the Waasland region (not mandatory).

Organisation and department description or a well?established and growing industrial company with over 50 years of experience in custom?made technical solutions, we are looking for a CNC Turner / Machine Operator. The organisation designs and manufactures high?quality industrial components for applications in food processing, (petro)chemical industries and water treatment. Production takes place locally, with worldwide distribution.

You will join a technically strong production workshop equipped with modern turning and milling machines, where craftsmanship and quality are key.Offer
