As a
Seafreight Documentation Assistant in Puurs, you’ll be the key operational link between a key client and the global sea freight network. You’ll manage export documentation and coordinate shipments from A to Z, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and excellent service.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and manage sea freight export shipments for a key client;
- Create and follow up shipments in a modern Transport Management System (TMS);
- Handle bookings with carriers and shipping lines;
- Collaborate with the customs team for timely document preparation;
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation (incl. IMDG, Codex);
- Monitor billing accuracy and maintain high data quality;
- Communicate proactively with internal teams and external partners.
ProfileWhat are they looking for as a Seafreight Documentation Assistant:
- A first experience in sea freight forwarding, documentation or export coordination;
- Fluency in English (Dutch is not required);
- Availability to start quickly;
- Knowledge of IMDG and Codex is a plus;
- You are hands-on, accurate, and communicative. You enjoy working in a structured way and thrive in a dynamic logistics environment.
