Job description


In the role as Project Document & Data Officer, you will act as the bridge between document controller, archivist, and data manager, supporting key engineering and offshore/marine operations!

You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and technical stakeholders to ensure data is structured, accurate, and accessible. Your work will directly support efficient project planning, technical coordination, and decision-making.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the transition from server-based storage to SharePoint
  • Organize and maintain project documentation and tender files
  • Digitize and structure article libraries and soil data archives
  • Maintain databases and ensure timely uploads and updates
  • Assist in setting up and refining new SharePoint environments
  • Track engineering requests, project milestones, and vessel planning timelines
  • Support weekly management meetings with up-to-date documentation
  • Maintain and improve internal templates
  • Help retrieve technical information across multiple folders and systems
Profile


Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
  • You have an administrative background with a focus on policy and processes
  • You are fluent in English; knowledge of another language (like Dutch, French, etc.) is a strong asset
  • You have strong digital skills (MS Office); experience with data/document management systems is a plus

You are detail-oriented and structured in your work, yet proactive and result-driven, always spotting opportunities where others might not. You know how to set the right priorities while staying flexible when the situation calls for it. With your clear communication style, you collaborate smoothly and enjoy being part of a team.
