Description de fonction The Technical Buyer will source, negotiate, and procure materials for our clients advanced electronic and photonic systems. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the supply chain supports their innovative high-tech projects. Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet technical specifications and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
•    Supplier Management: Identify and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and performance.
•    Procurement: Purchase materials and components, focusing on electrical and photonic technologies, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
•    Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms.
•    Technical Evaluation: Assess suppliers’ technical capabilities and assist in qualifying new components and suppliers.
•    Compliance: ensure adherence to company policies, standards and regulations.
•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align purchasing with project needs.
Profil
•    Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
•    3+ years in technical buying or supply chain management in a high-tech or manufacturing setting
•    Good understanding of mechanics and electronics to fully understand technical settings of components and systems
•    Fluent in English, both written and verbal, French is an asset
•    Accuracy and attention to detail.
