Functieomschrijving As a production planner you are responsible for setting up the production planning based on customer demand and the predefined KPIs.
You are in daily contact with your colleagues from purchasing and logistics. Tasks:

• You manage the production planning activity based on customer requests, KPIs and opportunities and, or constraints within supply chain
• You optimize production based on warehouse and work resources as well as production KPIs
• You oversee careful management of the production planning, with the aim of providing excellent service to internal & external users. You take into account purchasing, KPIs, distribution and (international) shipments
• You work together with the Supply Chain Senior Manager and liaise with production, finance and sales
• You participate in the implementation of improvement proposals by the Supply Chain Management Team
• You ensure the preparation, and if necessary, adjustment of the weekly production plan, based on production capacity, availability of materials (management & optimization of stock levels) the customer orders (sales)
• Leading the daily, weekly & monthly meetings with the production team to ensure the smoothest and most transparent communication possible
• Managing the production planning, under the guidance of the Planning Lead
• Following up on any quality issues and adjusting the production planning if necessary in order to provide optimal service and quality
• Regularly coordinating with the Supply Chain Manager and Plant Manager when new elements need to be introduced into production
• Reporting production KPI's : output, performance and production changes

Profiel

• A higher degree in a technical direction is a plus, but not a requirement
• Ideally you have at least 4 till 10 years of experience as a production planner in an industrial environment.
•  Experience in the automotive industry is a strong asset
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset
• You have a thorough knowledge of Excel, knowledge of SAP is a plus
• You are stress resistant, work in a structured way and can communicate fluently with interlocutors at different levels
