FunctieomschrijvingYour main tasks

 Operates primarily for Belgium and the Netherlands
- Focal point of contact for all HR matters including first line advice.  Based on expertise of HR processes, policies and HR organizational design, the HR Officer manages employee questions to the most adequate resource as well as guidance on policy, processes and procedures, escalating to the Head of HR Operations when required
- Provides support and guidance on all local legislative questions and issues
- Updates metrics/measures to track the effectiveness of HR activity and quality of the service, with a view to supporting and improving as needed
- Manages and administers the onboarding process including issuing of offers of employment plus arranging and carrying out the onboarding and orientation for all new hires
- Provides Management Information to the business as required
- Partners closely with HR excellence centres to ensure total alignment with hiring/on boarding, total reward, and employee development
-  Provides guidance to employees in the interpretation of benefits
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant
- Maintains employee and confidential files
- Manages Employee Relations: caseload, disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence, escalating complex cases to the Head of HR Operations
- Coaches and provides support to managers on matters of employee performance and development
- Conducts exit interviews as appropriate and provide recommendations on employee retention
- Initiates, supports, contributes and participates in local events, town halls, gatherings, celebrations, etc

- Preparation of payrolls for employees in Belgium (2 sites), France, Germany and UK ( with Partena)
- Interface with payroll vendors to ensure they have all necessary information for payroll processing and act as the Company representative on all payroll issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies and ensure that all policies are current
- Collaborate with managers and internal HR team to receive all payroll instructions and maintain the payroll systems, to ensure that all payroll changes have been correctly input (e.g. new hires, terminations, salary increases)
- Check all payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order

3.Talent Acquisition
- Partner with the talent acquisition team on all recruitments for the Liege site
- Support in interviews where French language is required in Liege

ProfielYou're the perfect match if: 

- you have 3 /5 years proven HR/Payroll experience
- you are fluent written and spoken French and  English. A level min B1 in Dutch is essential too.
- you have knowledge of social legislation in both Belgium and Netherlands (basic knowledge is ok)
- you understands legislation on non resident tax status
- you must be able to work independently and be self-directed, but also take direction from all levels of managers 
- you have excellent communication, engagement, and diplomacy skills in dealing with employees at all levels of the organisation
- you have the ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities
- you are Highly organized with a methodical and logical approach to day to day duties
