FunctieomschrijvingAs a Road Worker, you will be involved in a variety of roadworks and sewerage projects throughout the Antwerp area. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the safe and high-quality execution of the works on site.
Your responsibilities:
- Carrying out groundworks and foundation works.
- Installing house connections and sewerage infrastructure.
- Placing curbstones, drainage gullies and other infrastructure components.
- Performing excavation and levelling works.
- Assisting the team with various road construction and infrastructure activities.
- Using tools, materials and equipment correctly and safely.
- Helping maintain quality standards, safety procedures and a clean work environment.
You will receive hands-on training and guidance from experienced colleagues on site.
ProfielWe are looking for a candidate who:
- Enjoys working outdoors and performing physical work.
- Is motivated to learn a skilled trade within the construction industry.
- Understands and follows safety instructions accurately.
- Holds a valid VCA certificate or is willing to obtain one.
- Possesses a valid Category B driving licence.
- Has a good command of Dutch.
- Is reliable, punctual and works well within a team.
- Is willing to start work early in the morning.
Experience in roadworks, groundworks or infrastructure projects is a plus, but not required.
