Your Role

As our next skilled Senior Operations Manager, to join our Contract Logistics Business Unit, you will be part of our team of experts and take ownership for delivering excellent performance in all the warehouse activities assigned to you.

Your Responsibilities

• The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating and starting up/ following up operational measures

• Carrying out activities according to the agreed QCDISME objectives (quality, cost, delivery, improve safety, morale, and environment).
• Ensuring continuous improvement process on these QCDISME objectives.
• People within the operational organization are continuously developing so that they can actively participate in the realization and improvement of the results.
• The tactical / operational plan for the department based on the long-term policy is drawn up, executed and adjusted. You translate long-term strategy into daily operations.
• Customer meetings (MBR, QBR) where the agreed KPI’s are presented and discussed are sufficiently prepared. You understand and feel where the customer's values lie and convert them into concrete proposals that we work on internally in order to ultimately work on customer satisfaction and engagement.

Profiel

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Work experience of minimum 5 years in a managerial operational position within Contract Logistics (warehousing).
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean management.
• Preferably some experience or knowledge of the pharma sector.
• Advanced analytical thinking, result oriented, customer and quality minded.
• Good communicator with negotiation skills and diplomacy allowing you to create a consensus; positive mindset and immune to stress.
• Very good verbal and written knowledge of French and English required. Any other language is an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, …).
