What You'll Do:

Execute Automation Projects: From initiation to implementation, you'll be responsible for automation projects across various production sites, ensuring seamless execution from concept to reality
Act as the vital link between R&D, production site engineers, and maintenance teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment towards automation strategies
Strategic Development: Collaborate with production sites and R&D to develop cutting-edge automation strategies, identifying, selecting, and testing new technologies to keep us at the forefront of innovation
Ensure Compliance: Within our business objectives, oversee activities to ensure compliance with quality, environmental, safety standards, CE certification guidelines, and relevant legislative requirements

Key Accountabilities:

Automation Project Design: Design, develop, and implement control systems supporting our strategic objectives, covering both hardware and software aspects, ensuring consistent system operations and standards
Technology Transfer: Facilitate the seamless transfer of systems across our affiliates, supporting implementation, upgrades, and improvements while adhering to global standards
Technology Strategy: Identify opportunities to standardize technologies across affiliates, explore new process technologies, and develop strategic roadmaps for automation advancements
Market Monitoring: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring market trends in hardware and software platforms, attending industry exhibitions, and symposia to ensure our equipment remains cutting-edge
Training and Documentation: Assist in training end users on new systems, create comprehensive systems manuals, and ensure adherence to validation protocols

Profiel

You have obtained a Master degree
At least 2-4 years of experience in Automation
You are fluent in Dutch and English
