Functieomschrijving
  • Responsible for configuring & maintaining the IT Infrastructure
  • Providing a point of escalation up to 3rd line level on all IT matters and assist the European IT Manager in ensuring the IT Infrastructure is stable / current / capable and resilient.
  • Provide support for the computing environment (e.g. PC/LAN/WAN) including user support. (level II/III)
  • Responsible for documentation of the server infrastructure, the LAN/WAN and all equipment attached to these networks.
  • Assists with the coordination/management of vendors who are contracted for services relating to the computing infrastructure.
  • Resolve tickets from the service desk in a timely and effective manner providing 1st class support to end users
  • Ensure that all major changes to the computing infrastructure are reviewed and approved by appropriate management before resources are committed
  • Responsible for all activities relating to problem reporting and change control for assigned projects
  • Establishing the priority of problems that are logged with the Service Desk and referring the problems to the appropriate personnel if unresolved
