IT System engineer looking for international travel

As a System Engineer you are responsible for the design, configuration and support of IT installations worldwide with a team of 8 other system engineers. Next to that you provide general network support and you give internal trainings when you feel it's needed.

• You are responsible for the design, configuration and support of our IT installations worldwide (sites, offices)
• You provide support with focus on network, windows servers, active directory, virtualization, hardware,…
• For remote sites and offices you operate as an escalation path for the internal helpdesk. Quick response and quality are both key in this process.
• You are able, after the necessary internal training, to give a design solution for our remote locations. If necessary you follow-up the installation on site.
• You work together with the team concerning different projects, for example server infrastructure renewal, migration to cloud based solutions,…

• You obtained a Bachelor degree option ICT or equivalent by experience
• You have experience with virtualization, storage TCP/IP¨, Networking & Switching, Firewalls & Security Windows Server environments & Active Directory Powershell scripting
• You're hands-on, analytical, inquisitive, result and client driven
• You can set priorities and have a flexible attitude
• You are willing to travel all over the world (10-20% of your time)
