Functieomschrijving• Facilitate/support transition towards public cloud AWS:
• Translate cloud integration patterns into technical design (documentation + PoC)
• Structure & define and document standards & guidelines
• Provide reusable assets based on the technical design
• Write code samples/libraries facilitating interaction with AWS services
• Participate in community animation:coaching, presentations
• Follow-up AWS services evolution and propose improvements
ProfielWe seek for an architect with software engineering experience or a lead engineer with architecture experience.
The person is expected to:
• Be able to describe enterprise-wide architecture and technology principles (nb: this means that a DevOps profile won’t fit the job)
• To structure and communicate those principles to engineers and architects
• Be able to work autonomously
• Be familiar with the development languages Java and python
Strong experience of AWS services and patterns, specifically of serverless for business API applications (not specific to data science).
Serverless in AWS means leveraging several of the following services: - AWS Lambda,
- AWS Step functions,
- AWS API Gateway,
- AWS SNS, AWS SQS.
- AWS DynamoDB
Technical :
• Strong experience in Cloud (about 5 years) - focus on AWS first
• Knowledge of Enterprise Integration: AWS Integration services, API Management, ESB and EDA capabilities
• Broad knowledge of Cloud patterns and services, more specifically:
• AWS - FaaS: guidelines on how to develop new applications in serverless
• AWS - IT automation : experience setting up enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, CodePipeline)
• EDA: AWS (Kinesis, MSK)
• API governance with AWS API-GTW and Azure API management
