KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED

Strategic and planning

  • Work with the CEO and the Global Sales Head on the company strategy. Agree on Sales and business development targets and division of accounts
  • Design the Go-To-Market strategy and approach for Key Account Managers to capture new Archetype III or IV customers
  • Analyze industry trends, market intelligence information and economic indicators to identify target accounts by region
  • Prepare yearly plan for Archetype III and IV market growth in terms of revenue by regions, products, accounts to be penetrated and service levels to be provided

Functional

  • Lead Company’s global key accounts program. Build deep relationships with Archetype III/ Archetype IV customers and ensure penetration into new markets, new customers and new offerings
  • Cultivate and develop long term strategic relationships with Company’s key global customers
  • Supporting Regional sales efforts by leveraging relationships with the global customers. Driving cross selling in these global customers
  • Monitor consistency in execution of sales process, identify gaps in performance
  • Monitor sales and relationship with Key Accounts across geographies
  • Lead solution development efforts to best address key customer needs requirements

Internal process

  • Development of Standard Operating Procedures and monitoring of the sales and business development processes
  • Support implementation of process improvement initiatives
  • Establish reporting & review mechanisms to track operational performance of the function and ensure course correction & corrective action, as appropriate

People development

  • Take overall responsibility for people development initiatives and building up in-house capabilities for the employees in the department
  • Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members

 

 

Profil

Experience Required

  • 15 - 20 years in Business Development in a B2B company,
  • Experience > 10 years in capsules business, pharma, managing across geographies

Education

  • MBA with Sales & Marketing specialization from a Tier 1 B- School

This position is for one of our clients. They offer a complete range of solutions beginning with empty capsules,granulation and coating, capsule filling, tabletting, packaging films, blister packing and carton packing to the end-of-line solutions.

At the moment they are hiring for Head - New Customer Development role for their capsule business based in US or Europe.
