Job description


  • Deliver targets for growth in strategic and innovator markets
  • Prepare the budget for strategic and innovator customers’ business growth in the region
  • Determine the business targets in terms of volume and value for the identified key accounts (Consolidation Accounts) in the region
  • Create a long term (3 year plan) for expanding the customer database and increasing the services provided to them


  • Deliver on sales and business growth targets in the region
  • Responsible for penetrating new customers as per target list of development accounts with current as well as new products and propositions
  • Responsible to grow development accounts to the point of being Key Accounts. In case the scope for growth is not there, grow the accounts to a scale at which they can be transitioned to the Regional Sales Heads
  • Responsible to engage with customers to co-create product concepts / applications. Draws support from the scientific BD team for this.
  • Play an integral role in negotiations of commercial agreements with key accounts and assists in closing the sales deal
  • Responsible for cross region relationship development by supporting the Regional Sales Heads and the Key Account managers in other regions to penetrate customers
  • Cultivate and develop relationship with decision makers at the customer’s end in order to have a better understanding of the customer requirements
  • Serve as a single point of contact to deliver on customers’ expectations and manage their concerns. Also take decisions around additional deals, special discounts etc.
  • Liaise with ACPL operations, commercial, technical, quality and other related departments both internally as well externally at the customer’s end to ensure high quality delivery of service and resolution of escalations as required
