As a Microbial Contamination Control Program Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a site-wide contamination control program within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Geel. You will bring together multiple departments to strengthen risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts. This position combines technical expertise with project management and stakeholder engagement. You will have the opportunity to build sustainable processes that directly contribute to product quality and operational excellence.

You can count on us to rely on you for:

• Developing a microbial risk assessment methodology for the entire site
• Implementing a site-wide Microbial Contamination Control Program
• Facilitating and documenting contamination risk assessments and workshops
• Establishing governance processes linked to risk management and change control
• Developing contamination control strategies and risk mitigation plans
• Supporting investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Validation teams

Profile You are a structured professional who can translate complex information into clear and actionable solutions. Thanks to your strong communication skills, you easily connect stakeholders from different departments and align them around common objectives. You have an analytical mindset, take ownership of your work, and feel comfortable operating in a highly regulated environment where quality and compliance are essential.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience within pharma, biotech, or a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of EU GMP, risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, HACCP, What-if), and change management
• Experience with contamination control, microbiological risk assessments, or environmental monitoring
• Fluent in English; Dutch is considered an asset
